I'll do the honors, I guess...
So if you don't know something, then you need to atleast TRY to UTFSE, I didn't know what the context was at first either, but after a quick browse on the search engine for 'saccharic acid', I atleast learned some things today.
There is a video, or two, where they talk about 16 different amphetamine salts. If we know that a specific acid gives us the corresponding salt, for example, HCl, phosphoric, sulfuric, are more common ones - this is your amphetamine hydrochloride, amphetamine phosphate, sulfate, etc.
Adderall is the brand name of a product which is a mix of amphetamine salts, of the d or dextro isomer, but that's another chapter. One of these salts is dex-amphetamine saccharate. The salt from acid derived from sugar. Now you know why your adderall boogers are sweet and tasty and your toilet crank burns a hole in your face. I hope this serves to connect some dots.
