BLACK TAR HEROIN FROM OPIUM

The following process explains how to convert raw/refined opium into Black Tar Heroin.

Substances needed :

- Raw/Refined opium (poppy pod extract is ok to use too) = 10/12 grams
- Water = 850/1000 ml
- Benzoic Acid (99%) = 6 grams
- Battery Acid (37% sulphuric acid + 63% water) = 13 ml
- Anhydrous Methanol (optional)

Equipment :

- 2000 ml round bottom glass flask
- Reflux apparatus
- Heating Mantle
- Coffee/paper Filters
- 2 Pyrex dishes

Process :

Put the opium (or pod extract) in the flask and add Water, Benzoic Acid and Battery Acid. Put the mixture under reflux for 2 hours keeping the temperature constantly set from 80 to 90 degrees celsius. After 2 hours filter the refluxed solution trough a couple of coffee filters discarding solid parts and collecting liquids. Evaporate completely liquids in a Pyrex dish and scrape up the tarry/sticky (very sticky) residue which is Black Tar H (Di-Benzoylmorphine). The product is smokable and boofable and with further purification (2/3x methanol washes) it can be even injected.

You need to purify it as much as possible with many washes (even 3/4) also it has to be hydrochloride (N.4) .. No H base (N.3)

DRAGONHAZE5680I would like to ask you because I am very curious, since in the country where I live we have huge opium fields and this year we are considering producing a little H for our consumption, and the truth is that I would like to know if bth is good for smoking, yes It tastes good and if the taste is similar to that of the brown heroin that we are used to consuming in European capitals, or if it is really not worth following this synthesis and it is preferable to make an acetylated heroin even if it requires more work and less production. Does that btH taste good??

AcidosisYou can smoke BTH in the same way that you would use with 'classic' opium. In other words, don't burn but rather evaporate it in one way or another.

Does anyone know if and how the acid reacts with the other opium alkaloids aside from morphine? I read that Diacetylcodeine is kinda more toxic than related compounds, what about noscapine, thebaine etc...? Do the get acetylated/benzoylated during the reaction ?
I'd like to skip extracting the morphine from my crude opium, just like this tek describes. First, to reduce losses bc I can't start with huge amounts of opium at first, second because of synergy effects being present between all the opium alkaloids.

metuxI haven't made opium for years but the last few times buying it in the harvest season could cost around 2000 euros in my country buying a whole 1kg, 100g bags in Spain in the season cost 600 euros... blessings brother.

metuxThey do contain some (slightly toxic) alkaloids, but none of the opium alkaloids. I wouldn't advise consuming them as they don't have much desirable effects. Nevertheless, there are some legal and uncontrolled poppies beside p. somniferum that contain psychoactive substances (e.g. california poppy, prickly mexican poppy, yellow horned poppy). Some of them also produce a latex that can be consumed like opium.
