Watch out,various methods of scams

I was thinking that escrow is safest payment option until tonight.(It still is,but only if you pay close attention)

I set a deal with a vendor thru bb escrow. The 1st alarm was when he asked me to send half to escrow and half to the "company" account(wich i obviously declined)
I set the deal on bb,everything looks ok until the guy start begging me to change the name of the order and not mention one specific reagent because its a "special item" with the promisse that it will be there.
My first taughts were that he will send me a bogous package with random chems (since he begged me to not mention the most expensive reagent in the package...wich I already payed)
I`m not sayng that he`s a scammer,but for me it feelt veeery fishy
(I can also provide proof if needed)

What you guys think about this encounter?

Most likely sellers don't want to leave a digital trail that they are shipping certain items. However, you backed out of the transaction, got all your coins back, and didn't lose any money. Escrow doesn't guarantee that everything will be fine, it only guarantees that you won't lose money, the most you can lose is time.

I did not lose any coin,that s why i love you guys.The only thing i wanted to mention is if anyone ask you to deliver funds(even half of them) without escrow it s probably not worth the time

If someone is avoiding escrow it is easy to see that it will be scam. Also lot of scammers ask after order to pay ''insurance fee'' to make people lose more money - we only reject escrow outside Europe / UN due time and course etc but never rejected anyone at Europe if first order was not too big (probability of trying to take stuff and talk nothing arrived etc). When I was ordering chemicals yeeeeears ago no service like BB was available and lost so much money. Thanks to this forum I met lot of customers. Thanks BB

I said this in private 3 days ago, I think BB Escrow should be mandatory, for new users, sellers & manufacturers for at least the first 3 to 5 sales.

It supports BB, discourages scamming and promotes a community that polices its self. FYI I grew up in the UK town of the PM that created the first ever police force. So believe in a system governed by the people!

Mr GonzoI whould use escrow for every deal,even with the same seller. In other markets i`ve been scamed by people who were exit scaming after hudreds of deals (also the bb forum should eard the coin that it deserves.5% is not that much for the safety of the funds)
