recently got my hands on some pseudo raw. alot of things were off with the cook. 1st during reduction via hypo method. 400g raw pseudo mixed with 440ml hypo in vessel. adding 390g iodine reaction was very slow during first few drops of iodine had to stir to react. anyway eventually reacted and proceeded to burn off but it held fine powder on the bottom of vessel thew whole reaction and wouldnt dissolve. when complete i went to steam distill but when adding caustic it was hitting the liqued and completely evaporating. i had to throw that much caustic in to get the oil up and steam. anyway i steamed over and got a 45% yield. ive used these chems before and know they are good. im sure someone with more knowledge can inform me on this

Ok so if your using 400g of E your gonna need 440g of I.. Are you using "water" or you using hypophosphorus acid/crystal? The ratio is different for each.. you said there was a fine powder at the bottom that would dissolves them you say "when complete"..Did the fine powder eventually dissolve and were you left with just liquid? What colour?
Were you distilling with Glassware or a s/s Still? Are you adding raw caustic or a caustic solution? You can mix tap water with caustic and there is a formula which tells you how much caustic you need exactly to extract 400g of meth.. use a container with a lid so you can shake the caustic solution and quickly release the pressure.. be careful at first because you only need one shake and it will be angry as fuck.. continue to shake and release pressure until there's no more pressure when shaking..
Caustic solution must ALWAYS be cold before adding to cook..
When adding caustic to cook and you seeing it evaporating your actually throwing your meth into the air and that's why you only got 45% the rest of your meth is on the ceiling,walls,floor

yes so almost fine crytal powder just resting on the bottom of the glass flask. but my liquid was clear and not the honey look im use too. almost like water.
as for the caustic ive always just add raw caustic to the flask to bring oil up to steam over and always had 90% oil returns it was just how i was taught but what your saying makes complete sense. ive never disolved my caustic before
