Amfetamin via P2P + ammoniak NaBH4 reduktiv aminering?

Hej,

P2P + Methylamin reduktiv aminering med NaBH4 er ret almindelig, enten under våde eller for bedre udbytte, tørre forhold.

Men jeg har aldrig hørt om P2P + ammoniak reduktiv aminering.

Jeg ved, at imindannelse med ammoniak er meget vandfølsom og vanskelig.

Men er det ikke muligt at køre denne reaktion under vandfrie forhold for at få amfetamin?

For eksempel:

Blanding og omrøring af P2P og tør ammoniak i methanol, ethanol eller IPA,
Tilsætning af tørremiddel, molekylsigter osv. for at opsamle alt det vand, der produceres under imindannelsen
og derefter tilsætte NaBH4 til reduktion.

Ville dette være muligt, og hvilket udbytte kunne man forvente?

There’s a video somewhere, I think it was on YouTube, where they did it with Na[BH3(CN)]. You might find it with some digging.

No matter if NaBH3CN or STAB or NaBH4 plain is used, it only works if you add a stochiometric amount of titanium(IV)isopropoxide. Otherwise almost all or all product will be the di-alkylated compound, Dialkylamphetamie.

Alkyls groups are methyl, ethyl etc… Do you mean that the product would be methylated (or ethylated, etc) twice? If so then why and how would that be?
