Synthesis of Amphetamine using LAH.

Greetings to all experienced chemists of the forum. I was thinking about a way to make amphetamine using lithium aluminum hydride in THF and phenylnitropropene. How effective is this technique? Does LAC reduce the double bond in phenylnitropropene?
