Question What ano-phone should i get?

I want to know what kind of phone is the best for DW purposes at the moment.

I've heard that the Google Pixel with grapheneos is the best in terms of anonymity.

What version is still good that I don't have to buy a new phone again in 1 year or so? because I can get a pixel 7 for ~120€ and a pixel 8 for ~200€.

Or is an Android with ano-sim, purchased privately with VPN also a good option?

As VPN I use perfect privacy, which is unfortunately not working at the moment, but normally pretty good in my opinion. Has anybody a good alternative because pp seems to have this problems pretty often l?

There was a very good tutorial/article about how to set up a anonymously phone properly, my internet is so slow at the mo, that I can't find it at the moment.
So please send me the link please if you know what I'm talking about.

Pixel with graphene flashed onto the phone, that you do yourself, not that someone else does.
That's the only way to be safe.
Or, have someone else buy a burner phone and a card at Walmart, and tape the camera lens and always use a faraday cage when not using the phone.
