Question How to know if NaBH4 have good quality?

Hello, i have received 1kg of NaBH4 and i think its not good because the reaction doesnt work correcty. There any method for proving that this product is realy NaBH4?
When i throw it to water it bubble a little bit but not to much and its not flamable. The powder is white.

Prepare a small amount of NaBH4 solution by dissolving a small quantity of NaBH4 in water.
Take a small test tube or glass vial and add a small amount of the solution Add a few drops of hydrochloric acid to the NaBH4 solution. If NaBH4 is present the reaction should emit hydrogen gas.
NaBH4 + 4HCl → B2H6 (diborane) + NaCl + 2H2
Be careful when you test for hydrogen because B2H6 is highly flammable and can ignite just by making contact with air.

Thinking of this again you could also try burning B2H6 and it should burn with a green flame

If it bubbles a little in water, then everything is ok
