As the title says I would like your input on sites where you get your synthesis from..! Here are my top 5 sites.. 🧪 🥼

1. Google (take safe guard off)

2. Google patience has a whole list of synthesis.

3. Erowid.org is old but has a lot to information on a wide variety of drugs

4. Sciencemadness.org if you like to read other peoples troubleshooting and synthesis.

5. Prepchem.com has a wide range off syntheses aswell

twitter.com get redirected to x.com (muscle memory), right bottom corner and ask Grok. I even skip the search engine step and go straight to G dog.

Like the other day, I told Grok I want to discuss "the article titled Synthesis of 2,4-Dinitrophenol published in Russian Journal of Applied Chemistry in 2012" and we continued to have an hour-long productive conversation that really helped me prepare for the task. However, you do need to bring some elementary understanding of the subject in order to be able to spot and call out bullshit and get Grok (or any other generative LLM) back on the right track.

Great Question !

Clandestine Organic Chemistry speaking ..

you had already nailed it *bullseye*

Conduct your theory (your gathering of science articles, substitute of chemicals, educated guess theory) with smaller-scale and reach your end product.
Practice and experiment

Some other great resources include;
1. Sci-hub is a free site that collects documents that are usually behind payalls. You find the journal you want to read and punch it in at sci-hub, and you might just get to look at it for free.
2, You mentioned Erowid, but didn't mention the Rhodium archive or The-Hive archive LOTS of good info there

I know where you're going with this, but the forum has a lot of other peoples input, and a lot of extra content. Nowhere on erowid does it say trichloroethylene diossolves most antihistamines for example. Rhodium doesn't have that that I've ever seen, The hive was the only place I found that info. and being a forum, dissenters alwys chime in with their opinion, which to me is 100x better than just someone writing something and posting it with a critical evaluation
