I am interested in gathering info regarding the synthesis of 6apb and 5mapb.

Are the ketones available for purchase, or do they require total synthesis?

Is the reduction of the ketone much different in conditions than p2p or mdp2p?

Does 5 mapb have to be separated from isomers like 6 apb does?

Any other info/knowledge is appreciated?
