Question Amphetamine freebase storage

HI everyone,
I made some amphetamine freebase but for the moment I can't make the salt form.
It is possible to storage the oil and make the salt when I want?
(temperature, time of conservation, recipient under vacuum or not)

Best stored in the fridge, in a closed container.

Freebases are volatile compounds. You run the risk of it degrading. Especially oxidizing unless you store it under an oxygen-free atmosphere. Better salt it as soon as possible. The salts are very stable.

What would be your best advise for storing freebase proper?
I never had any issues storing it tbh, as long as it was in a closed container in the fridge..

Like I said for the moment I can't salt the freebase.
Maybe in 2 or 3 week I guess, got some issues with sulfuric acid and I don't want to use chloroform or phosphoric acid..

Thinking about put the freebase into a close recipient or a bottle and put in the fridge.

Well, salt it with whatever you got. You can always convert it back to freebase later and resalt it with your desired acid.
But if you really can't, just do as Koko is saying and store it well sealed in a fridge, preferrably under an argon or nitrogen atmosphere. Get argon from a welders store, usually sold pretty cheap. Or as a wine preservative in spray bottles.

Honestly, I have no personal experience of storing freebase. But searching for product info from official chem companies the storage recommendation for N-formylamphetamine seems to be anywhere from 4 to -20 C. (example: https://www.industry.gov.au/sites/default/files/nmi/chemical-reference/d447c.2019.01.pdf).
So I guess a regular fridge would be ok?

No, sorry. I should have warned about clearnet. But it basically says "store in darkness, below 4 C and in a well-sealed container".
