Hey. I get purple color when I add tropaeolin. Is my hci to strong? I made it from 30,%. 30 ml 30 hci and 70 ml water. It's suppose to be 10 % then?

Hi. If you has taken 30 ml 30% HCl aq solution and added there 70ml water, you has got 10%. It's correct.

Yes I did the same. But I'm not 100% sure about purity. It's supposed to be 98% Pure

Tbh, I have no clue. Are you sure that you have sodium nitrite, not nitrate?
