Question Glassware needed to make solution acidic w/. Hydrogen Chloride Gass?

Hi Everyone,

It was along time coming but i am finally having everything and have the time to make Racemic Methamphetamine and then split the D isomer and discard the other one to yield pure Dextro-methamphetamine!
I only have one small question about how to use hydrogen chloride gas to make a solution acidic.
I have a 1000 or 2000ml two necked round bottom flask where i can pour in the Sodium Chloride (NaCI) and one neck has a 500ml dripping funnel with ACS Grade 98% Sulfuric Acid to drip on the NaCl to generate hydrogen chloride gas but what type of glassware should i put in the second neck where i can connect a PTFE tubing that leads in the solution that needs to be acidified?
Is one of these two types of glassware suitable:

Maybe the second one with the PTFE valve so when i want to start flowing hydrogen chloride gas i open the PTFE valve and when my RM is acidic enough i can close the valve and stop the flow of hydrogen chloride gas and i can easily connect a PTFE tubing with 8mm ID on that outlet!
What do you think guys will this work or do have other or better tips?
