When looking for new suppliers the first thing I look for is communication. Is the supplier friendly, communicative and responsive to questions?
After escrow, prices, potential frequency of orders, capacity of orders and shipping times.

Also it just needs to click, so that it is fun for everyone involved

Its a bit picky to say but if the supplier has a warehouse in the same region as me, that really plays in because orders are much more less to be seized.
