Question Is there a reaction to confirm amine isomer predominance

Looking for a method of a kind of qualitative isomers volume estimation.

I.e. I'm not looking for exact isomers ratio. The only thing I need is to find out what isomer predominates in racemic mixture.

Is there a way to build the reaction similar with Simon's reagent? I mean, let's take some amine hydrochloride for example. There are two isomers in racemic mixture. If isomer A predominates, then there will be some color change. If isomer B predominates there will be another color change or no color change at all.

A polarimeter could help.

Sure, but too expensie. But I've already found a solution with a source of polarized light and linear polarized glass. Obviously it is not such precise as a polarimeter, but may give first impression.
