Aside from pyridine and NEt3 which are popular, I know 2,4,6-trimethylpyridine a.k.a. sim-colidine (not sure I remember the correct name, have to check) is superior in some cases (would have donated you a merk bottle of 250mL, had a few thrown away). in LSD synthesis momomethyl diethylamine (MeNEt2) is used to catch the proton and let the diethylamine react. Since chemistry is also saying CHEM IS TRY, you need to get small amounts of each and perform on tiny scale.
