Question Credit Card Reader?

Is there some way, if someone is doing small level, in person transactions, of having a credit card swiper type device, and just having people swipe their cards to purchase?

I imagine their would be several difficulties with this.

I have seen these devices for sale. They have to match the POS device you plan to hook to.

That is the extent of my fraud knowledge. This is a drug chemistry forum
