The good old elephant stamp. Dr were beautiful elephants and dolphins peruvian a while back. In contrast this picture screams NEP. Don't even think this is a system job but a brick that had to be mixed. That's what the sheen looks like. Probably mixed with proca or tetra. Apart from that you can see the edges are still on it. Mean filter paper has just been taken off.

Oh yes maybe this could still be a system job but I think whoever put the brick in the dryer for far too long without protection separate from the filter paper

If you leave out to dry the brick tends to turn yellow. Its good to cover it. We use plastic over here but i wanto to try vacuum oven pressed between aluminum foil and see if the shine on top is better

Have you ever crystallised good base yourself? So first also "fry" your base in hexane etc.. and then dissolve it in your solvents etc etc etc etc
You get gloss , texture everything, but gloss is say 1 whole, and not a disco ball of pearl. They throw in something extra for that pearl effect, what exactly I don't know

As paper, I use different kinds of crepe paper that I cover with foil of which I also have different thicknesses. It really depends on what the customer wants, and what kind of trade it is...

Yes the crepe paper is what I mean by filter paper. Are you using the italian version?

Italian among others, but also others, I can't find the picture like that will search eveb tomorrow. I'm also not concerned about the top of the block, at the stamp but more if it is broken, then the shine is just not right

Hmm maybe it's down to your process. Although I don't really know what difference you mean. Do you press the coke right after you filter it with your cloth from the solvent? Or microwave it first and then press it. There are so many factors what can play a role regarding the shine but I think you know that as well

I got thismlocally and washed it in distilled acetone. Its got a nice smooth sheen. Not sparkly flecks but like whitewashed aluminumtismprobably has some boric acid in it still but primarilynthe sheen is right for quality stuff. In pure form cocaine is a crystal you can see some of this is tranluscent. It's dry
