Question Someone has successfully purchased PMK (CAS: 4676-39-5) from a Chinese Supplier?

I see most buy pmk ethyl glycidate (28578-16-7) and then convert it to PMK (4676-39-5) but I see that converting from one substance to another is complex, and I was curious if anyone has been able to successfully and without being scammed, buy the PMK directly, without the need to buy an intermediary.

It's a controlled substance in china and most countries in the world.You cant figure out mixing a powder with a strong acid. heating and using a separatory funnel?

I understand that when pmk ethyl glycidate is converted to PMK, a large percentage of purity is lost, I have also seen that a large chemical reactor is required, etc., but I suppose there will be some way to do it on a small scale or without the need for a chemical reactor.

You can work directly with the converted ketone, albeit not ideal and not stellar yielding final product can be purified in a later stage of any gunk formed.
A 1L round bottom or even flat is 10-20 Euros..is it really that big of an investment to do things at least somewhat properly? Vevor has 50 Euro distillation set with condenser, round bottoms that you can use as reactor small scale.You gotta be willing to put in the work and time to learn and invest a little if this is the path you want to pursue, it dosen't come for free
