While it is certain that we are living in a turbulent time and thinking about it may seem like all of what is happening is some part of bigger scale conspiracy theory, people must remember that the world has been in way more turbulent times, and not that long ago (reasonably). Early 60's, then early 80's, then especially 1991 August (even though it is not that often told - security and intelligence agencies used to be more disciplined with their intel unlike nowadays). Now we have all this information 24/7. Experts talk and give ''insides'' wherever you look. People are probably less intelligent, less critically thinking (judging by researches carried out). Back in the day, you'd read a newspaper in the morning and see it on the evening news that ''Soviets shipped nukes to Cuba, shit is serious'', or similar stuff on Soviet medias. Now, you wake up, a thousand of strange anonymous Telegram and Youtube channels flood you with all types of conflicting, headlines and clicks chasing articles and videos. There are many, many upsides to this phenomena that we have all this access and opportunity if we wish to pursue and share information, but it is insane when it comes to war. Especially Russia's disinformation. And not only their state media, but their clandestine disinformation campaigns. And that is what leaves many confused, afraid, even paranoid, distrust of their own government and sometimes even their own family members that share different opinion.
You should follow reliable information sources yet stay healthy-levels critical. Understand that most things happen organically - I know conspiracy theories are very captivating and interesting, but only a fool prefers sweet fantasy over bitter reality. No one wants the world to end. Maybe a couple of psychopaths that have power to do such harm. But even they do not have the ability, literally on themselves, alone, deploy nukes and chemical weapons. These things are carried out, in every country that has these things, in a strict procedure. Absolute majority of those under the command of these psychos do want to live. All intelligence agencies of the world, especially MI6, CIA, Mossad are constantly monitoring activity in arsenals of these horrific weapons. There are also direct phone lines, if you will, between security agencies of most world countries (the ones that are relative) to avoid misunderstanding and miscommunication.
Wars happening in the world now have an impact on us, especially Russia's aggression in Ukraine is very noticable for all European nations and beyong, Middle East wars always impact maritime trade and oil prices which in turn impacts the cost of everything. Remeber though, that there are always wars ongoing. We just have way more information on our hands: war in Ukraine is the best example on how live-stream our world is now. I never would have thought three years ago that I can watch people getting blown up with FPV drones in real time, no censorship. But here we are.
Stay healthy, look after your immediate family and wife, kids. Love your nation, don't abandon your country in hardship. That is all you can do.
