Looking into ghb production, and I'm reading a few things which make me wonder about this route.
Does it have to be ran under pressure?
Does the catalyst need pre-reduced, like precious metal catalysts? Ie, reacted with hydrogen, then used in the reaction?
What is the CAS of the catalyst? Ive seen 12053-18-8 be said to work, yet also 12018-10-9 be said to work.
It seems like a nice reaction on the surface, but these questions, gathered from a reputable chemistry site, is giving me second thoughts.
