Can we replace AlCl3 with AlBr3 in the method showed in the video?

So AlBr3 also can be used as a catalyst in this reaction?
It's hard to find anhydrous AlCl3. But I think I can find AlBr3

What's the purpose of dcm in this reaction?
ch3coch3+br2 ----> ch3coch2br+hbr
I couldn't find any purpose for it

I made p2p by bromine and benzene. It was pale yellow oil. I kept it in a bottle with cap in refrigerator. But after one day it became a little darker.
Is it normal?

Thats one of the best routes to p2p, i have made 4f-p2p by this method to test it, but without the use benezene, just went out the Hbr acid well and acutaly tge yield for me was high, than the low stated in literature.
