If one was to process 500 gram pmk ethyl glycidate, according to the procedure at the top, what size vessel would be needed?
I was just guestimating and thinking about ten liter flask.
Reason I ask is that I can do the math on the ratio of the weight of ingredients, but some things I can't figure out. Like it calls for X grams of water in the process on this website to process five kg of pmk ethyl glycidate, i can divide every weight by ten and should be ok.
But knowing how much space the ingredients take up is less easily calculated, at least for me. I'm not sure it's as easy as diding the vessel size by ten.
