For non-List precursors, you can just google "buy XXX usa". Pick a legitimate-looking site that has reviews off of the site. Most sites will ship to non-business addresses but it depends on the product. DCM is supposedly being phased out completely in the next few years. May be good time to find a website that sells and stock up.

By the way are you from U.S.? For List chemicals, i'm not sure but someone in china might ship to usa. I'm not sure how import duty tariffs are collected. Whether customs physically opens packages or just weighs them and asks for extra payment. If suppliers increase their price for U.S. customers only, and pay the duty themselves then that would work.

You've got to specify the economic area (USA+51, EU, etc).

In the EU platforms like Allegro are consumer oriented. Anything you find there you can buy as an individual, so long the purchase is not outrageously stupid in some way (e.g. a blatant combination of a pre-precursor with a solvent and methylamine, or in quantities that you can't plausibly justify). But you leave your shipping details there, as well as card information.

Getting chemicals anonymously is hard and for some it's borderline impossible. I find it the best to make small mundane purchases across various platforms/physical shops and simply blend with the millions of similar transactions. I don't mind to pay with the card for ordinary things like solvents, my priority is to look normal and be forgotten in few seconds. I have a plausible cover story for anything that I buy, in case anyone cares enough to ask. I add other items into the order, even if I may need them in some time. Like today, I started working with a chemical that I purchased 1/2 year ago in order to increase my order and improve my back story when purchasing other reagents.

CAUTION! Allegro rats to the police! Friend was interiogated by antidrug police investigators. He bought different precursors and solvents from a single account, although never in the same order. Propably would be wise to always order from different accounts, but it might be troublesome to set up a new account every time you need to order, due to the neccesity to register via phone number. Also payment might be a problem. Better not to order there at all, and order from the supplier directly. (Yeah, i know you paid for that juicy year long Allegro membership and want to save those 2eur for shipping, but better safe than sorry.)

I assume chemical suppliers don't sell to individuals, because it's more of a liability & insurance policy reason

Assuming private non-professionals individuals are more likely to accidents and are more of a liability risk

...it's ironic that chemical suppliers REALLLLY do want to sell their chemicals, glassware, equipment. They want to make money !
No business , no money.

Also, the chem suppliers are not the police "friendly associate". The chemical suppliers do get threatened by law enforcement to punishment the chemical business over any "falsehood" "bad" of sells of watched chemicals and/or unusual quantities of reagents.
The chemical suppliers hand over sells reports & identification & payment info to law enforcement when the police make a visit (regular patrol routine or a specific investigation) to the chem supplier.
Or the chem supplier gives the sales records to law enforcement agency at" such a monthly period time set interval".
The chemical supplier hands sales reports to LE because the business does not want the business threatened or because of a sloppy suspicious fuck-up.
More because it is required and not a friendly associate of police

Yes, if you order List 1 chemicals directly from an actual chemical supply company in u.s. (if they sell any), they are required to report mail-order sales to the DEA. If you order from the marketplace here internationally, the chemicals are shipped discretely. The odds of the package getting seized (smelled by drug dog) are relatively small unless you're ordering massive amounts and it gets randomly selected for inspection. My question was, how does the import tax get paid for chemicals purchased on the forum's reagent marketplace? I should probably ask in another forum thread.
