Tem razão. Pode adicionar anidrido acético entre 5-6 passos para acetilar a morfina. Ajustar o pH a ~3 e, após uma hora de agitação, neutralizar o pH a ~5,5-6 com bicarbonato de sódio.

Hey G.Petton can i also leave the water/plant mix cook for a bit longer then 1 hour so i dont need to strain it and do the water/pant mix 3 times or isnt that recommended? Also how do i acetylate the morphine with Acetic anhydride and how much do i need?

Há um documento que documenta e explica muito bem o processo de isolamento da morfina do ópio em bruto (e também o processamento e refinamento posterior para obter uma percentagem bastante elevada de heroína), tal como é feito pelos agricultores afegãos de papoilas.
Ainda não experimentei, mas vou fazê-lo de certeza nas próximas semanas. Talvez outra pessoa possa dizer algo sobre se e como é possível reduzir a técnica de extração para se adequar a uma pequena produção de ópio de um cultivo caseiro ou semelhante.

Posso perguntar se supervisionou o cultivo pessoalmente ou como se pode obter as matérias-primas? Eu vivo num clima do norte, perto de Boston especificamente - não suponho que estas possam ser cultivadas ao ar livre sazonalmente? Tenho uma ou duas luzes LED para cultivar marijuana, não deve ser um problema ter uma ou duas papoilas no armário? Quanto tempo é que demora desde a germinação até à colheita? Existe algum vendedor de sementes fiável no meio? Provavelmente posso encontrar informações para o cultivo no erowid se não aqui...

To answer some my own naive questions. Poppies grow just fine in northern climates, some even prefer. Seeds which can be acquired in abundance, grocery store variety are active but weak, better strains can be found online, can be cast effortlessly and without much care onto loose soil almost anywhere during autumn or early spring and these things will grow. Indoors works but outdoor is better - you need alot more than 1 or 2. It only takes 2-3 months from start to finish. If sewn in autumn, they hibernate of course.

on top of that morphine can be purified by sublimation at 190°C lol
