lämnas i frysen i 12 timmar

when you reflux a liquid, you boil it. You hope to get then vapor to condense by the time it is 1/3-1/2 way up the column. It tells you the temperature, not the other way around. the temperature is whatever it takes to acheive that level of vapor up the columb

You should at least go to PH 6.4 on the acidification, or you won't get a complete conversion. It should have precipitated from the xylene when you acidified itt. The water in the hcl doesn't help, but it shouldnt mix with the xylene and you can seperate that little bit of water and evaporate that instead 100m ml of xylene. Your yeilds suffered from those causes. 70% efficiency would be 2.5 grams. Some of your yield is salt that is the side product of NaOH and HCL, you can see the blocky crystals in with the shards
