Question Looking for a vendor ¿How to extract coke from carton if it was impregnet?

Hello chemists,

I have some coke impregnet in carton, like 200 g, normally i do is shred the carton and then put the carton into a solvent (normally use alcohol 99,9% or 96%), then leave it for 2-3 hrs, after that, filtred the liquid and then put on it on double boiler at 50-60%, until the solvent evaporated, but some times the coke in turns into a sticky mix, and i lose the product.

What do you think im doing wrong? and what is your suggestion about that?

It depends on what salt you got it impregnated, if its hcl you can simply use water, amonia to precipitate and treat your freebase to obtain the shiny pearl in petroleum ether.
