I have pure 1.4-butanediol (BDO) it's frozen at 20.1c so I know it's pure stuff.

When i melt BDO and take 1ml or 2ml no affect! I THOUGHT it changes to GHB in the body when digested...but has no affects at all..

Am I meant to add or do something to the BDO to make it turn to GHB inside the body and have the same affects as GHB or GBL....

What am I missing please help??

How much do you weight? Some people just need more, I personally take 1.8ml and its the sweetspot for me. Your body converts BDO to GBL and do you know you can use search bar to search for BDO to GBL synthesis.

BDO will destroy your nervous system if you use as bdo directly. It will do it pretty fast too. You have to convert to GBL and then to ghb. If your use to GBL this is far weaker that than. For instance if your use of GBL is 1ml dose the bdo would be closer to 2.5 ml.

How does BDO destroy your nervous system when used directly?
MetriboloneOnce ingested, BDO is rapidly converted by the liver enzyme alcohol dehydrogenase into GHB. GHB acts on the GABA_B receptors in the brain, which are inhibitory receptors, leading to the suppression of neuronal activity.

Repeated exposure to high levels of GHB can lead to neuronal damage due to the persistent suppression of neuronal activity and potential excitotoxicity when GHB levels drop and the system rebounds. Besides, the overstimulation of GABA_B receptors and the corresponding inhibition of neurotransmitter release can lead to cell death in sensitive areas of the brain.

BDO can cause profound central nervous system depression, leading to symptoms such as drowsiness, dizziness, confusion, and at higher doses, respiratory depression, loss of consciousness, and even coma. This is due to the inhibition of neurotransmission in critical brain regions responsible for arousal and autonomic function.

Chronic use of BDO can lead to persistent memory and cognitive deficits. This is because GHB impacts the hippocampus, a brain region crucial for memory formation and cognitive processing.

If in short

Been using BDO exclusively, daily for about 3 years now. The withdrawal is not insignificant, but i found it far easier to get past compared to GHB. It's rapidly metabolized into GHB by liver enzymes - and here's the biggest warning aside from ACCURATE DOSING. DO NOT DRINK ALCOHOL before, or a good while after taking BDO. The method of action is using the livers enzymes to dehydrogenase the compound - if your body is already using enough liver enzymes, that conversion to GHB doesn't happen and you have just introduced a poison that will not be able to metabolize- expect to have a bad time and be sick. It will start to freeze under 68 degrees and holds that cold like a cold pack. It's not super pleasant taste, and baseline dosage for someone without tolerance is around 2.5ml. Don't redose under 2 hours, and use half the last dose. The line between unconscious and feeling good is as small as .5 to 1ml above what you would want to take. With a pretty solid tolerance from years of use, going over 3.5ml in a dose is extremely likely to have me act a fool, and my girlfriend can't take ever 2.5 ml without veering into falling out regularly.

There are methods using hybrid metal catalysts at 200-240 degrees with 97-99 conversion rates to GBL. Check for patents.

dvswhitehatThanks for sharing your experience. I have a professional interest - have you experienced withdrawal syndrome after such a period of use? If so, how quickly did it occur and how does it manifest itself? If it is more convenient, you can reply in private messages.

ParacelsusI've tried 1.4 bdo, even at doses that should kill me, but experienced nothing, completely sober. Perhaps use of SSRIs have had something to do with it

blacky2340It is likely that your neurochemistry has particularities. Add to this the intake of psychoactive drugs that change the already changed system. We will get a situation in which the average dosages will not be relevant.

I have no where near the knowledge most of these guys have and I don’t know why but GBL which is what you turn bdo into before ghb is essentially destroyed for that particular use by even a lone drop of water.as an example take a jigger and put a shot of gbl in it the put a few drops of water and it will appear as if there is something living in the jigger almost but it will go nuts for a few seconds then you will have what we called flat gbl you can do nothing with it hates water.
