A start.. But still in need of some help

So I've bought a full distillation kit and now have all the main equipment needed to start experimenting, but I'm still stuck on where to start things. Should I try P2NP---->P2P------>Meth?

Or should I try to synthesise something like Mephedrone first?

Could anyone provide me with a solid precursor I can make that will get me going in the right direction or has anyone got a good method to making Nitroethane.

I have the confidence to follow well written instructions and video guides if anyone can help a brother out!??? In desperate need to further my Chem experience.

Sitr1xHello. Sorry for a long reply. I recommend you to start with 4-MMC cuz it's quite easy synthesis and has a good yield, cheap to produce. What precursors do u have? You can open Listing and look for whatever you need.

Sitr1xYes, just different halogen, reaction the same (mechanism). Iodine, in theory, should be better for this reaction.

Sitr1xCheaper to buy than to make. If you do it cheaper than sold, you need special industrial equipment.

Yes, but iodoketone is more unstable during storage, less yield is obtained from the same amount of iodoketone than from bromoketone (molar calculation). And the price is higher.

Everything is simple there, the main thing is to separate the copper powder well at the end of the reaction.

4mmc is very easy to make no special equipment needed 2-iodo-4-methylpropiophenone You can make it in the microwave and 4mmc in wine bottles, which is a real break bad
