I'd have to calculate that, but my impression is that adding the hydroxide and closing the flaskCOULD be refeed to as a bomb. Maybe I could ask AI, the math on that is SUPER complicated when you have to start figuring atmospheres of pressure on a gas, which compresses(meaning a cubic foot of gas at 14.7 psi is less than a cubic foot at 44.1 psi (3 atmospheres) and then also have to consider the pressure the vessel can handle, which could be <50psi or >150psi

Why is ammonium chloride used in the production of HCl gas instead of sodium chloride?
Also, after using sodium borohydride, what temperature should the reaction mixture be maintained at?
Can anhydrous magnesium sulfate be used as a substitute for anhydrous sodium sulfate?
Once sodium borohydride is added, should the round-bottom flask be left open or kept airtight?
Since borohydride needs to be added gradually over a long period, part of the compound is often left exposed, and it begins to absorb moisture and become damp rather quickly.
What is the proper way to handle this situation?
Into how many portions should sodium borohydride be divided for optimal addition?

Can you recommend any books on this subject?

See videomanual. Moisture should not fall into the flask

Since borohydride needs to be added gradually over a long period, part of the compound is often left exposed, and it begins to absorb moisture and become damp rather quickly.
What is the proper way to handle this situation?
A small amount of moisture is not critical. The appearance of the borhydride look at the videomanual

Into how many portions should sodium borohydride be divided for optimal addition?

Read the topic detailed and see videomanual

The answers to the questions were not found in the video manual, nor have they been provided by me. Consequently, those questions remain unanswered. Thank you nonetheless.

Why is ammonium chloride used in the production of HCl gas instead of sodium chloride?
You can use NaCl instead NH4Cl

Also, after using sodium borohydride, what temperature should the reaction mixture be maintained at?
After adding all the sodium borohydride, the RM temperature not exceeding +20°C

Can anhydrous magnesium sulfate be used as a substitute for anhydrous sodium sulfate?
Yes
