CBD to d9 THC Conversion with 75% yield

Method from WKU Consulting I found on youtube for 75% yield delta 9:

1 - Mix 10kg cbd powder in heptane (dry first the heptane with molecular sieves).
2 - Add hydrochloric acid and add some molecular sieves to help to control the moisture of the reaction.
3 - Remove the air from the vessel with vacuum and add nitrogen to make an inert atmosphere.
4 - Reflux at room temperature.

The guy looks to know what he is speaking about, will this work?

Is easy get the gas to fill the flask to make an inert atmosphere, can be bought from welding store.

It works for sure, I've tried it without any acids or solvents and it works. CBD + Zeolite will convert.

Edit: Forgot to mention this will also work for (CBDV -> THCV) as well as (CBDP -> THCP); go ahead, try it!

Ive tried this same conversion before but on a much smaller scale and it works great. I refluxed on a low heat (30-35c) for about 2 day just to make sure that I got maximum yield. You can also do a similar reaction with CBN.
