Is it convenient to use distillation (or vacuum distillation) system to distill the freebase? Or the yeld in this case is too low?
As I remember, boiling points of amphetamine family freebases are around 105C, so probably it shall be around 85-95C if done with vacuum.
What temperature shall be kept if done without vacuum in regular round bottom flask?

They make an azeotropic mixture. Water decrease boiling point of amp/meth free base.

And after your lye and you vacuum distill it again, so you can directly pour cold HCL on it instead of generating gas to create directly crystals your red color doesn't make it suitable for crystal growing the shards will be cloudy because of the low P.h.

Yes, MDP2P can be steam distilled but you're far better off distilling it under vacuum. I've used steam distillation before, and you need a large volume of water to get the MDP2P to come across and the separation isn't all that great (I remember something like 25-100ml/1g or something like that).

G.PattonOh wow yes that's too much water. I have a bunch of MDMA that's too dark to sell quickly. I wasn't able to get the reactor to function properly under vacuum. Do you recommend distilling the pmk after wax conversion or the MDMA freebase?

G.PattonIf you bubble in a non-polar solvent, except xylene because it gets reduced ( i found out with expensive base inside ), it participates out as an salt. excess HCL goes in the air.
In general all impurities stay then in the hexane layer.

And instead of cold acetone washing, you can also wash your meth in hot hexane.

TweakerIt is easier to recrystallize MDMA after synthesis.

And yes the best pump is imo q vevor pump 1hp like 10 CFM is rotary vane check Ali. Normal price 25 microns and does 15 000 liter airba hour.

Oh actually price went up from 190 to 315 maybe no stock in Poland anymore
