Many clients ask if we ship to China
or Hong Kong SAR
(even Macau
).
We naturally answer yes, without giving further explanation.
But theoretically, how is it possible to send drugs to these countries?
Before sending the package (which must be a parcel
and NOT a standard or unstandardized letter
, or even a Kraft envelope 🫧, etc.), we must ensure its stealth is paramount.
We spend several hours working on the stealth and packaging of these parcels to guarantee that the client receives them (unless the shipping service loses the package due to incompetence, of course (but we resend it anyway as long as the client receives it)).
Stealth is the most important principle to apply here.
Please see our stealth methods on BBGate.
Once the stealth has been perfected, and the package is ready, of course, we have to pay for tracking, and we don't pay for just any tracking.
Most of the time we pay for UPS Express Saver (or Express Plus, but it's practically useless based on my experience with the two options UPS offers). Obviously, the customer can request another international shipping service (like FedEx, PostNL, DHL, DPD, Chronopost, Colissimo, and DP), but we really don't recommend other shipping services for this type of shipment, which in my opinion UPS (the best shipping service in the world) is perfectly capable of handling.
The customs declaration, which is filled out both online and manually, must be extremely precise (including HS codes, the exact value, and other complexities I won't mention).
Once this declaration is completed, we must fill out a CN23 🗐 (you can do it with a CN22 🗐, but it's completely pointless and unnecessary). We need an EORI number because we're shipping from Western countries, which won't raise any suspicions.
After that, things start to get complicated and pile up. We absolutely must fill out 3 Proforma 🗐 documents (invoices). If your handwriting is poor (because yes, we have to do this both physically and electronically, so 6 in total), customs officers won't waste time deciphering your letters; they'll ask you to rewrite everything and redo it all, which is a waste of time for both the client and us.
Once everything is done, we need to take care of the basics: print the shipping label and attach it, affix the "OPEN HERE" label, etc.
Once that's done, we're all set. Now we need to send it to a post office (in this case, a UPS Access Point). That's it!
If, of course, there are any issues with the shipping department's incompetence, which happens 60% of the time, we call UPS directly or contact them by email (if it involves customs changes).
Here's what it looks like if all the theoretical principles are applied:
NOTE: "On the way" means everything is in order and it will arrive at its destination.
etc...
