First you need obtain phenylacetone from phenylacetic acid, then choice any route for synthesis meth from p2p.

he probably need to look into lead acetate salts and phenylacetic acid destructive distilation into p2p , i have seen a lot of methlabs in the jugle araund the world work they way up to p2p this way

Now I know that phenylacetic acid and lead acetate are packed in flasks, completely mixed, and a distillation equipment is built. P2P is prepared by dry distillation. But I don't know the proportion. It also needs 1:1 g/g, maybe 1:1 mole/scale.
