Does anyone know how to gas methylamine HCL into methanol.

The standaerd way is to react methylamine hcl with sodium hydroxide, which releases the methylamine gasm and you pipe that into you methanol and bubble it through.periodically weighing it until it reaches the weight you've calculated for the amount you are making the reaction of deprotonating the salt creates a lot of water if you use 1 mole of NAOH (40g) and add it to a mol of methylammonium chloride (67.518g), you get a mole of methylamine (31.06g) a mole of sodim chloride (table salt) 58.4grams, and a mole of water, 17 grams also known as 17 ml. 17 ml of water to create 31g of methylamine is a lot of water
