Sorry if this is common knowledge but
I’m ready to attempt the p2np synth from Benzaldehyde, Nitroethane and methylamine. It ask for 15 mL dilute aqueous methylamine in 150 mL alcohol.
how do I convert methylamine HCl to this and how many grams to make the 15ml aqueous solution.
any help would be much appreciated.

It's literally on the wiki page

The colorless hydrochloride salt can be converted to an amine by the addition of a strong base, such as sodium hydroxide (NaOH).
Dillute dosen't mean anything, you need to decide what % you would like to use in the next synthesis and convert the appropriate amount of hydrochloride as described above. You can figure out how much you need by reading the thread on stoechiometry.
