When I first signed up here, the administration was looking for novel ideas pertaining to making drugs, and I suggested making meth from phenylephrine. If you do a catalyzed reduction on it, the exact same ones you would do on ephedrine/pseudoephedrine, the you should recover meta-hydroxy methamphetamine, which should he a stimulant but quit a bit weaker than meth. it's possible you could lose(reduce) the hydroxy on the phenyl using a halogen to replace the ho, giving you meta chloroform meta flour, meta-bromo ect. which is a good leaving group to be cleaved,leaving you with methamphetamine
