Question about the long term stability of Mephedrone and other Cathinones

Does anybody have any solid information about the long term stability of Mephedrone and other Cathinones outside of solution?

What can be done besides cool, dry, airtight and light protected storage to ensure the longest stability?

use desiccants. save those little silica gel packets and put them in with ur shit. ive never done this with mephedrone but it works on shrooms lol

colored or opaque glass can protect it from light more than regular glass. maybe try amber glass? its specifically made to protect things from light exposure :3

i wouldnt worry too much, as long as you take standard measures it should be fine. afaik mephedrone is relatively stable

I don't have enough chemistry knowledge to reliable review the points myself.

Long term stability is a really important point to me because I like collecting my chems and usually don't take them very often.

I would like to put a good amount of Mephedrone into long term storage (possibly 10 years+) and it would be really bad if I would end up with a pile of useless garbage.

Ksalosi read the post u sent! here are some helpful replies:

"Others have suggested that mephedrone sealed in an airtight zip bag (my suggestion is use two bags and squeeze all the air out both times) can be stored for two years (Mona Lisa's Post) with no loss of potency. Store in an airtight, moisture free environment."

"I recently finished a batch of methylone 4 years old and it was as good as when first acquired. Stored in thin ziplock at room temp in the dark and dry."

"There is someone knowledgeable of chemisty on another fairly well-known forum who suggests that both mephedrone and methylone should be reasonably stable, as they are both bk-ketones though this is merely conjecture. He said, 'Most phenethylamines are long lived if kept in a dry, dark place (like years!)'...but who knows. However, I have found methylone over two years old still effective that was merely stored in a sealed plastic bag at room temperature, though out of light. if it can survive for 2-4 years in a fucking ziploc bag (ik one of the replies said methylone but i dont think meph would degrade much faster), i think youll be fine if you put it in an airtight amber glass jar and throw some silica gel packets in there. store it in a cool place with very little light ofc.
