Joker_333ok, so do you mean the nitrogen is introduced to the reaction vessel (aka creating a nitrogen atmosphere) with something like a canister of hyrdrogen and a hose leading to a ptfe stopcock joint like this picture:

Brine is prepared with table salt and distilled water. which becomes saturated or semi-saturated.

Tryptamines are oxidized by air, so an inert atmosphere can be used, but it can also be done without an inert atmosphere.
