the vapor problem

Hi Guys,

I'm looking for a solution to vent noxious fumes through the window. I was thinking of a duct fan from a couple of grows.
But I still have no idea how to attach it. Maybe there are better alternatives...

Can you give me some tips on how you solved this?
I have a full face mask but want to keep it as safe as possible.

If I was you instead of pumping vapors out of a window which is very risky I would lead the vapors in a plastic container filled with activated carbon. There should be a way to seal the box after use so that the vapors have time to condense there and not poison you overtime. Many vapors adhere to the surface of activated carbon making it sort of a filter like in the case of filters for respirators you commonly see. This way you can then simply replace the activated carbon frequently. Avoiding most of the vapors produced.

AquaRegisWhat do you mean about "how to attach it" ? ( dont know the problem but a frame can easily be made out of wood, metal, pvc pipes,...)

Thanks for the tip. Most vapors of me are fairly inconspicuous, like acetic acid for example.
I find your idea very interesting for others, can you tell me more about how exactly you implemented it and where do you dispose of the activated carbon?

I would like to build a simple kind of fume hood and wanted to inquire how others solve the whole thing. Building the box is not a problem, but I have still the question of how best to solve the front, which is not completely open but has a plastic pane in front of it, for example, which also has to be removable to protect the glass devices to build properly and where I can intervene if necessary. But maybe I'm just thinking too complicated
