1liter sodastream, 240mgsudo,1.5 aa lithium battery, 1/4 cup ammonia, 1/2 cup lye, 10oz naphtha. Crush the side and the ammonia in blender or mortar and pestle. Add all this to soda stream with the powders first then naphtha then lithium. No water added at all. If the ammonia is good quality the rxn wil start itself, if it needs a little boost apply a little heat with a hot water bath or a hair dryer. Just enough to make it go. I don’t want this to get too hot at all. Once it’s rolling get it to a good pressure, u want to be able to press ur thumb in on the bottle still at least so u know u have room to burp, without worry of it blowing up. Once at that amount of pressure roughly apply the soda stream to an ice bath. Cooling it will reduce pressure but still keep the ammonia gas, so it will still dissolve lithium, even with less pressure. Got this done with literally no pressure before because it was on ice bath the whole time. Just depend on how u do it. The lithium should fully dissolve after 2-4 hours. The solvent shouldn’t go dark blueish grey and then back to clear when finished as well. Pour off solvent, any slight excess lithium should be stored in separate solvent, to burn. Or put in a stack of coffee filters that are wet with solvent and left to oxidize in the most dry place u have. It will turn to lithium oxide powder and will not be dangerous of exploding. One lithium battery explosion is about 5ft worth of fire like a jet it’s like the 4th of July for 15 min. It sucks. Then add 10oz new solvent to the soda stream for ur second pull to see if there was any missing, let sit for 30 -60 min and pour that off also. Acidify the poured off solvent by water and hcl to ph3 or gas it with aluminum and hcl or sulfuric and salt to ph 3. Dry and ur done. Then acetone wash and recrystalize with ethanol. And that’s as good as that tek gets without purifying the sudo to ephedrine before cook. That is the correct way to do that. U can make changes of solvent if u like another. And that’s about it.
