Kit I’m using is
10l 3 neck boiling flask
Mantle with heating control and thermostat to maintain temps. From my understanding holding between 80-85oc for4-6 hours? Is the a preferable time you suggest. Take off heat till reaches around 40oc then add to water 3kgs and ice 8kgs. Stir in bucket for 5-15mins till crystals form on top then use filter bag to get product. Do I then ad bag once I have the filter product back into ice water to clean product again in same way then leave to dry in trays? I paid over 5000usd for this 2 years ago!! Madness. Also they didn’t send potassium carbonate so I good 99.99 food grade sugar size granules that I’ll be powderising like you mention before in a previous convo we had. As soon as this is made fingers crossed I will be looking to buy your full selection

For 5-bromo-1-pentene, we suggest you to use 550g.
For the reaction time we suggest about 5 hours, but here we remind you to use powdered potassium carbonate, all suppliers who do not remind this before or provide crystal potassium carbonate are considered extremely unprofessional, please pay special attention to this detail.
