The organic phase was dried over Na2SO4 and concentrated at reduced pressure to give the 3-(1-naphthoyl) indole as a crystalline solid.
You have to use Rotary evaporator and additional equipment

Yes its very dark here too, like dark chocolate. So i guess its normal with this naphtoyl-indole, which also has this darker brown color. In contrary to the tmpc-indole in the photos.

wait.... is this cors per kg, cost for the fraction used per kg of final product or cost per kg of each component? usage per kg is a bit shady to me as well, for example, DCM 12 USD together with 18USD indole does not match what I see.

Its my chart i use. Its the cost to make 1kg and how much is used to make it. Example Indole, i buy 10kg for 535$. Based on the synthesis outlined in this thread it takes 1000g to make 3kg. I just make it in 1kg measurements and just broke it down. Indole to make 1kg would be 334g. same goes for each item. I could just multiply each by 3 to make the threads recipe.
