Sintesi di metamfetamina da P2P tramite amalgama di alluminio

Questo documento è un pasticcio totale. Seguendolo così com'è si otterrà un risultato del 10%. O forse meno.
1. L'amalgama di alluminio deve essere preparato in anticipo, è un passaggio importante.
2. Aggiungere il p2p, la metilammina all'amalgama e l'isopropanolo.
3. Mantenere la temperatura di reazione <30 gradi
4. Con 40 g di p2p e 40 g di alluminio FOIL si otterrà il 100% di fuga

5. Aggiungere NaOH/KOH prima di filtrare i fanghi di Al/Hg, facilita il processo di filtrazione e uccide l'Al residuo.
6. E così via...

Ho fatto prima su fusti da 200L, vanno bene anche fusti da 100L, e ho fatto una reazione in vaso.
350-400 grammi di mercurio su 10L b (400 grammi sono davvero molto aggressivi), 15L di metilammina 40% e poi circa 30L di metanolo.
Per quanto riguarda la lamina non sono sicuro, alla fine avevo fatto 2/3 di un secchio pieno di lamina graffiata/danneggiata (senza palline) quindi il peso era quello.
Alla fine era troppa lamina.
Resa: 12 litri a PH 12.
Per quanto riguarda la metilammina, tutti sanno che ci sono alternative migliori quando si lavora con, ad esempio, Al/Hg.

When you say the Al amalgam can be made in situ does that mean one doesn’t have to wash & decant the HgCl from the aluminum before introducing the p2p + methylamine mixture? The HgCl can be left in the flask while reduction happens and will be extracted out later during product purification?
I'm currently experimenting with al/hg and wanted to scale the synthesis. I asked myself the question of whether it is absolutely necessary to use a capacitor? I suspect it is needed to keep the methylamine and solvent (methanol) in reaction vessel. But would it be possible to compensate for methylamine loss with a new methylamine-methanol solution?

Perhaps an excess of methylamine was used, not much, just to compensate

I have heard of success with nitromethane, but the yields are lower.
I cannot say that the yields where lower with nitromethane, but do not underestimate the danger of nitromethane.
