Hello, after making 4-mmc freebase solution, how long can it be stored? before needing to ad acetone for the precipitate to fall out?

To be more precise, how long is the shelf-life of acidified 4-mmc freebase?
And how should the product be stored?

I think one can say, across the board than when speaking of organic molecules, in the dark and cold will always be the best place. At lower temperatures, electrons move slower and there's less energy available to fire a reaction. Since photons are an energy source, the same goes for light. Another factor to consider is air. Atmospheric air has oxygen of course, the main cause of oxidation. Vacuuming, leaving as little head room as possible and inert gas, like argon, will extend shelf life of any biological entity.

Frit Buchnerand the impurities that are present can react with the aminoketone

freebase cannot stand for long when it starts to decompose, hence low efficiency and quality laboratory-tested

Update: dont leave acidified freebase in your lab. It decomposed completely within 12h.
