Buying Precursors from eBay (or Etsy)

SWIM REALLY BELIEVES THIS POST NEEDED TO BE ON THE COMMERCIAL SECTION AND THE LEGAL SECTION ..



Would you recommend a clandestine chemist to be buying precursors from eBay ??

There's a 250ml sassafras oil being sold for at least $200

There's a good deal of 5 grams of palladium chloride (trace metals ) for $350

There's a 100 gram of MDP2NP for $300

There's iodine and red phosphorus being sold on eBay


What's your guy's opinion on this matter ???

*Swim read some Reddits of several chemist got law enforcement raided to their house and the reasonable suspicion was buying glassware from eBay *

That's kinda high for the mdp2np.ive been fine with glass on eBay n grabbed hgcl from Etsy but I'd be cautious

List I domestic you should be careful, ebay doesn't report all the transactions esp if its equipment / tablet press. But law enforcement has their own portal https://le.corp.ebay.com/leportal_communitieslogin and its easy for them to see purchaser/seller info. If you order international and the seller doesn't use stealth or lie for the paperwork you'll probably get your goods but be put on a Watch List. I think some one on the forum bought sodium hypophosphite and it was stuck in customs for awhile. List 2 or special is probably okay every once and awhile but bulk buys would cause suspicion.

Every state varies, but buying glassware isn't probable cause in most states. Knock on wood, I've bought some serious stuff off of ebay AND amazon. Stuff that definately shouldn't have been on there. scheduled stuff, not listed stuff, but also listed stuff I've bought probably $1000 in glass from Amazon

I have been buying rare parts from chinese sellers on ebay, also i also got some stuff that shoud violate the ebay laws from there, deffinitly dont order directly to your house or your name simple as that.

Most chemists and laboratories are contacted by the police through the purchase of suspicious reagents and equipment.
You need to understand that you need to approach the supply consciously.
Buying from a new supplier is always fraught with risks.
The main thing is not to buy sets of reagents and equipment in one place.
Do not buy precursors and special equipment with your data.
Laboratory glass and harmless reagents such as alcohol and lye can be bought without any problems.
