I did a recrystallization on the pseudoephedrine to purify it but when I went to evaporate the solvent I left some of the pseudoephedrine burning and it is a bit yellowish, can I use it for cooking?

I doubt AnyoneCAN Answer this question.Especially not without even a picture. It Just depends on how bad it is burnt. F The only way forward ICAN see is to recrystallize it again and see what you get you probably lost some. Maybe all but I wouldn't move ahead without finding out

Frit BuchnerThanks for your answer, now that I've extracted it completely I think I can make some use of it using crystallization.
