How much trouble is ordering methylamine

How much problem or trouble is ordering some methylamine Hcl or solution online ?
And how it usely send ?
Because I understand that when metyamine is solution liquid then is highly flammable.
And safer for me to order solution or hack ?
I am a newbies so try to understand

There are companies which sell it anyways but still getting caught with a large amount of methylamine is a problem whether one admits it or not. Methylamine in high amounts is mostly used in the industry rather than simple home chemistry. So they'll ask questions.

But technically speaking, not illegal to own. I think even though legal you still could be charged for it somehow. They usually seem to overstep now bending the laws so that everything in regards to chemistry is illegal. I'm sure they could pull something off if they wanted.

Never to sleepif it won't be legal then won't be sold but it is.
how do you think how people get Methylamine here? Robb train or something?

Why order something in which has little legitimate use and such a tremendous cloud of suspicion surrounding it??

Anyways, this is so easily made, it's mind-boggling... Pounds of this beautiful beautiful thing is (did I emphasize easily) synthesizable in merely a couple of hours (not including the cooldown time of the reaction vessel).

A little ferric chloride as the catalyst, MeOH, NH4Cl, and dH2O under high temperature and high pressure.

For a kilo or less at a time, I found countertop small ovens to work perfectly with a little modification, the addition of a SSR and digital PID controller, (Rex-C100 's).

And for those that would want to interrogate me as to the details surrounding this easy methylamine synthesis in which I've just referred and/or alluded to...

I would use 2 in steel pipe in which is threaded on each end, a 6-10 inch long section of pipe that screws into a 2 in Tee. The other two openings on the are plugged with threaded plugs, and the end of the length of pipe and which is threaded also has a threaded end cap. For the first time use be sure to soak in HCL to remove any or all coatings.

Not very technological, yet quite effective, I would place The rxn vessel under vehicle tire and use very long pipe wrench, the largest possible, to open the vessel..

And this is when I'd suggest and refer....to...TFSE (Google or equivalent)

As for Temp and time, 2 hours at 300C.. and I never noticed the reaction to be very picky in regards to Temp or time.

And all these years, decades later, it's still amazes me that I feel like I'm the only individual whom has taken to and falling in love with this particular synthesis.

If only I could discover or produce as simple of a one-pot, high temp high pressure phenylethylamine synthesis as this Methylamine synthesis..
