Why do we use dcm instead of toluene, what is the advantage

Definitely dries fast if that part includes evaporation....or just because... it works. You can use toulene it you want

so we dont even need to reflux condenser and we can cook it for only 1 and a half hours not 24 hours? why is the video up if the cook times are wrong and hes not refluxing? is this going to even work? why put up false info, can we get a better method to use that this guy in the video , how can we make a reaction with a reflux for small batchs using otp products or lik ethis video says we dont even need to reflux, im very confused why the admin would allow such a crappy video to be used on this site

As you can see the reaction was refluxed.... look at all the beads of water condensing on the flask walls... just not a heavy reflux.
in here it says racemic or synthetic ephedrine. Can we use Psodoephedrine instead?

Yes pseudoephedrine HCL works perfectly fine also... same exact way.. follow the same steps
If I add water and hcl to acidify the free base when making a free base, separate the water layer, and completely evaporate the water, will salt appear in the end? In theory, hydrogen chloride is not needed?

When the free base extracted with DCM, you can use aqueous HCl for obtain salt after evaporation

DO VERY CAREFULLY TO AVOID "OVER-ACIDIFICATION"
Prepare a 25 ml D-h2O and 5 ml HCl (aq.)
To your NP solvent + FB meth, add small amount of D-H2O , like 20 ml and 2 drops
of the above dilute-acid prepetation
Shake
After layers separate, extract out the water+meth HCl layer with eyedropper pipette
And then evaporate
Repeat 2 - 4 times
*You want the pH level to be as close to 6 as possible !!!! A pH of 5 won't kill you but take caution
** Evaporate VERY LOW HEAT AS POSSIBLE to avoid loss of yield
Or evaporate under a fan or a hairdryer
*** You could titration with sulfuric acid to get methamphetamine sulfate

Is this method applicable to the synthesis of ephedrine extracted from Ephedra sinica?
Take a look if you can get "Rhinopront Kombi" pills, they contain 60mg of Pseudo and 2,5mg Triprolidine.
Online pharmacys sell them for half the price you pay in normal pharmacy stores. Pharmay stores also just sell one or max. two packages of it, online pharmacys sometimes sell 1-2 packages more. It's great if you have some friends / other people ordering them from different online stores. But never ever order it to the address where the "magic" happens, should be clear.
These pills are super easy and great for extraction and you'll get super high quality of Pseudo if you take some time into washing / cleaning / recristallization of the product.
Grind the pills in an electric coffee grinder and extract 3 times with denatured alcohol, do a 12-24h soak in xylene e.g., after that wash it by stiring 5-10 minutes in hot/boiling toluene(using a magnetic steerer with heating for example, 2-3 times with fresh toluene and take care for very GOOD ventilation!), then wash with acetone and recristallize from hot methanol or ethanol. You can get super clean, large crystall-needles of Pseudoephedrine that way.
All solvents should be as dry as possible, e.g. by drying with molecular sieves.

If you are located in Germany this is by far the best way to get Pseudoephedrine by extraction. All the other Pseudo medication and pills like "Reactine Duo" are totally crap and full of additives which makes extraction for obtaining good and clean Pseudo almost impossible.
And like I wrote, if ordered in online pharmacys "you" are able to order easily 3, sometimes 4 packs for roundabout the half of the regular pharmacy price, while some pharmacy stores in the city don't sell more then one package at a time.

Request for help: I have obtained ephedrine oxalate. Can I follow your steps exactly to produce methamphetamine? Or will I need to convert it to ephedrine hydrochloride?

No, using carboxylic acids (ephedrine salts) remains undesirable for this reaction. You need to obtain the hydrochloride from the oxalate to avoid problems.
