now this one hits close to home: The @flightrcs team got taken down by major LE forces in multiple raids happening last week.
This is very sad news for all of us but also, unfortunately, an opportunity to learn from mistakes and grow from it.
I am in my thoughts with all arrested individuals and can only imagine what it must be like to be in their skin right now

The forces involved have mainly been: DEA, Europol, Lithuanian Police, Greek Police

An international operation has brought to an end a criminal group that produced large quantities of synthetic cannabis in an illegal laboratory based in Thessaloniki, after a major operation that culminated in the arrest of five of its suspected members.

After they have build their legacy over a long period of time, it was 8 packages that got seized in Lithuania 2 months ago that lead to their downfall. 8 packages out of probably many thousands, let that sink in and understand that it does really only take small bottlenecks to take down your whole operation.

Now that can only tell us about a few things I can only estimate at this point:

1. Bad OpSec for those 8 packages like fingerprints, DNA or any information that could lead to their vendor identity 'Flight-RCs'. Probably sent with the same courier for all packages
2. No difficulty for LE to identify them directly from those packages
3. No difficulty for LE to find their warehouses or other locations

With all respect, when an operation can work out for that long but can't withstand a large seizure of packages that have been sent out, you as purchaser have to assume that your data is at risk, contrary to what the Support/Mod on TH has said:

As of right now their TG is still actiavted but I would not recommend anyone to believe the mod there right now until further notice from third parties or identity approval through PGP.
The risk of LEs keeping the TG open as honeypot is very big in the current situation.
You have to assume that they had 0 OpSec and the guy speaking to you there is a LE officer, until he proofs not to be.

You will always have the least risk if you do not buy directly from vendors and synthesize chemicals yourself, especially when it is about large quantities.

The problem was 2 Months ago, where Lithuania went into lock down after it was literally a warzone of 3cmc and noids which mostly came from Greece, Interpol got aware of it and started investigating incoming packages - like all parcels entering the country - then noticed the pattern and looked deeper into Greece... it was just a matter of time

But I need to mention that there were a lot of funds going towards the shipping departments in fact so much that we paying over 200€ per package sent via express while charging 90€ for it. Lithuania was actually just a small client of ours. But I agree with what you are saying, I had no influence in making this happen, since I came into the team later on and now am the last man standing trying to make it be what it could have been!

NoCuttDo you have info on how it was possible for Interpol/Europol to trace Flight back just from 8 parcels, within 2 months?
There must have been either evidence on the parcels or a hint inside that could lead to the shop, otherwise I can not explain the rapid investigation speed of 2 months

Hash came to the shop 4 days before his arrest...
Anyway I hope to be able to continue his legacy but with proper opsec and a completely different approach.
If I get more intel from "internals" I will update everyone before the media does!

I am not sure but if you have a direct contact to lawyers or the chance to send money once they got finally incarcerated, I would send 100$ for Flight into prison through you.

That's why I never would accept express mail, even if it's domestically shipped via that method. You never know when things will get checked before getting on the plane.

To cause as little drawback or trace by Interpol and similar I cannot give too much intel on what is going to happen in the future yet, just note that the brand FRCS or Flight Rcs will not come back under this name, it will be continued by me as this was discussed with flight longer times ago, not for this particular case but similar ones, though the business model will be reinvented!
